Larry Emdur loves a good laugh.
And the Gold Logie winner proved he can give as good as he gets after being at the centre of a salacious, clickbait headline by The Daily Mail at the weekend.
Emdur made a viral side-by-side image of himself with the Sunrise Cash Cow last week, posing in a similar way to the now viral image of married Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot on the Coldplay kiss cam.

The Sunrise Cash Cow had her arms lovingly wrapped around Emdur as The Morning Show host gleefully smiled in the photo in a send-up of the image of Byron and Cabot, who were allegedly caught out in an affair.
“Sorry Sylvie xx,” Emdur joked in the caption, with tongue firmly in cheek.
Emdur’s followers had a good laugh over the image.
“Knew it!!!! Two-timing cow!!” Mark Beretta wrote.
“Oh Larry, you’re really milking it now,” another added.
“This killed me .... Too good,” yet another wrote.
Daily Mail Australia then wrote a story claiming “Emdur was forced to apologise” to his longtime wife Sylvie following a secret “tryst” with a Seven co-star.
However, on Monday, Emdur offered a playful apology.
Edwina Bartholomew said: “At the end of the show on Friday, there was a tryst, that’s what they’re calling in the Daily Mail. Here in the studio between Larry Emdur and our Cash Cow.
“Many are saying Larry’s after her for her money.”
Emdur offered his apology.
“Look guys, if I can just take a moment please,” Emdur said.
“Two things, I had no idea ‘tryst’ was spelt with a y.
“But the other thing is when Sylvie read the headline, ‘Emdur in affair with co-worker’ and got really upset. Then she read (it a bit further) and saw it was with the Cash Cow and thought, ‘oh, handbags forever.’
“And she was like, there’s a bright light. This is OK. It’s like Indecent Proposal.
The headline prompted a round of laughs from Sunrise hosts Matt Shirvington and Monique Wright, along with Edwina Bartholomew and The Morning Show’s Kylie Gillies.
“I’m just looking at the Cash Cow. Devastated,” Shirvington said.
Wright added: “We should have a new headline actually ‘dumped on air?’ Affable TV host dumps (Cash Cow) on air”
Emdur, aiming for a laugh, chimed in: “Emdur milks the relationship for all its worth.
“It was a magnificent moment. Sylvie and I are OK for now.
“We’re working through it.”
