Australian chef Curtis Stone’s son is set to make his acting debut alongside some of the biggest names in Hollywood.
The celebrity cook — who lives in Los Angeles — shared the big news on his Instagram account on Thursday, revealing that his 13-year-old son Hudson had landed a role in upcoming teen flick Camp Rock 3.
The musical sequel is the third instalment in the franchise made famous by pop band Jonas Brothers, with Joe, Nick and Kevin set to reprise their roles as Connect 3 band members.

“Congratulations @hudsonstoneofficial my boy I couldn’t be more proud of you for trying something new you have always been all about the music and I can’t wait to see you shine on @camprockmovie!,” the proud dad shared.
Stone’s wife, American actress Lindsay Price — who starred in Beverley Hills 90210 — also made the exciting announcement on her own social media account, revealing Hudson would be playing the character of Desi.
The carousel of photos show the budding young star playing the keyboard, recording lines and practicing choreography.
“Out of nowhere. Like a bolt of lightning. You stepped into your story,” Price posted.
“We didn’t plan it but it was meant to be.
“I’m so proud of you @hudsonstoneofficial.
“You were born to rock and share your light.
“You just say yes and I’ll try it with all your joy and look what happens. Look. At. YOU.
“Congrats my beautiful boy.”
Price and Stone — who also share 11-year-old son Emerson — are their children’s biggest fans.
While this will be Hudson’s first acting gig, he is already the lead guitarist of a band making him no stranger to the stage.
During an event in Los Angeles last year, Price walked the red carpet with Hudson.
“I’m just the groupie roadie of this event,” the mum-of-two told US Weekly. “My son is in a band and they are called The Rookie 5.”
At the time, Price shared a clip of the group’s performance at the event on Instagram, which featured her son rocking an impressive guitar solo.
Along with actress Demi Lovato — who starred in the original Camp Rock film — the Jonas Brothers will executive produce the Disney Channel movie.
The third installment of the iconic franchise will follow the Connect 3 trio returning to Camp Rock to host a contest in the hopes of discovering their next opening act.
