A young boy was found injured in a car after a single-vehicle crash killed the driver on Friday.
A 34-year-old woman from Mount Gambier crashed a Mitsubishi SUV into a tree on Naracoorte Rd at Western Flat, 15-minutes south of Bordertown in South Australia’s far east, about 8pm.
She died at the crash site, SA Police said.
Her seven-year-old passenger was taken to hospital with minor physical injuries.

Naracoorte Rd was closed to traffic for several hours while investigators analysed the scene.
The woman’s death is the 48th life lost on South Australian roads this year.
