It’s the second time in as many weeks the supermarket has been targeted.

A small Sydney supermarket has been targeted for the second time in two weeks when a car rammed into the front and was set alight.

A silver Hilux ute smashed into Mount Pritchard Supermarket on Meadows Rd about 1am on Tuesday.

It was then set alight before two men were seen running away.

The ute was unregistered and did not have number plates, and police believe it was stolen.

About 10 people, including children, had to be evacuated from the apartments above the store.

No one was injured.

Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze within 40 minutes however the shop was extensively damaged.

It’s the second time in as many weeks the supermarket has been targeted.

On April 25, the store was damaged when petrol was poured in the front and set alight.

“A crime scene was established and an investigation into the cause of the incident has commenced,” NSW Police said.

Anyone with information or dashcam footage has been urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
