A woman’s body has been found floating in Sydney Harbour.

Paramedics were called to Lincoln Cres in Woolloomooloo about 11.30pm on Monday following reports a body was seen in the water.

The body of a woman was located with the assistance of water police and she was confirmed dead at the scene.

The woman is believed to be aged in her 20s but she has not yet been formally identified.

It’s unclear if her death is being treated as suspicious.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
