A young woman has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, after her best friend died in a crash on a rural road.
Shereice Adele Marie Rumble, 21, was the sole survivor of the crash on Tuesday.
The two were travelling in a silver car on Pump Rd at Mobilong, near Murray Bridge in South Australia, when the car left the road, flipped and crashed into an irrigation channel about 1.20pm.

Police allege that Rumble managed to free herself and run to a nearby home to raise the alarm and call for emergency services.
Kiara Alice Mckelliff’s body was later pulled from the submerged vehicle.

Rumble was taken to hospital for assessment of minor injuries.

Mckelliff’s death has left the tight-knit of community of Murray Bridge in mourning.
She worked at the local KFC, which was shut on Tuesday night to allow her coworkers to grieve.
Mckelliff mother Kellie Allen thanked her daughter’s workplace for their support.
“Thank you KFC family for all the support,” she said on Facebook.
More heart-aching tributes were posted, with many saying that too many deaths are happening on local roads.
“My heart goes out to all involved, too many accidents happening around the Murraylands lately,” Macayla Goodridge said on Facebook.

Major Crash investigators and Water Operations Unit divers attended the scene to investigate the crash.
On Wednesday, investigators arrested Rumble over the death of Mckelliff.
Rumble’s licence has been revoked, and she has been granted bail to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on September 29.
