A second man has been charged over a refund dispute which ended with a Facebook Marketplace seller being thrown from the verandah of his home.
A 52-year-old man sold his 2013 Nissan Pulsar on August 6 but six days later, he was allegedly confronted by three people demanding a refund at his Stapylton home, Queensland Police (QPS) said.

The man was allegedly assaulted, thrown from his verandah, and further attacked while on the ground by the group before they fled in a Volkswagen van.
He sustained serious spinal injuries and required surgery.

“Following further investigations, detectives yesterday charged a 33-year-old Forest Lake man with one count each of grievous bodily harm and common assault,” police said.
It follows the arrest of a 40-year-old Lockrose man, who was charged on August 14 with one count each of grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed/in company.
Both men are due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on September 17.
