A man has died after he was found unresponsive in a WA carpark on Friday night.

He was found with critical head injuries outside The Local House Bar and Grill on Hammond Rd at Cockburn Central, in the southern suburbs of Perth, at 11.40pm.

Paramedics treated the man, but he died of his injures outside the pub.

The death is being probed as a possible homicide.

Investigations to determine exactly how the man sustained the head injuries is now ongoing.
