A motorcyclist has died following a single-vehicle accident in the north of NSW.

Emergency services were called to Mount Lindesay Rd, Koreelah — near the Queensland border and a two-hour drive from the Gold Coast — about 2pm on Sunday following reports a motorcycle had collided with a fencepost after leaving the road.

The rider, believed to be in his 50s, was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.

Anyone with dashcam footage or further information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
