A man has died following a horror crash in South Australia’s Mid North.
Emergency services were called to the Thiele Hwy near Kapunda about 7.20pm on Friday after a Holden ute collided with a truck.
The driver of the ute, a 64-year-old man from the Mid North at the scene. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

The truck driver and his passenger escaped without injury.
The Thiele Hwy was closed for several hours as Major Crash investigators combed the scene.
It reopened just after 3.30am on Saturday.
Investigations into the crash remain ongoing.
The man’s death marks the 63rd life lost on South Australian roads this year.
