Drivers make lucky escape after fiery crash in Dimboola

One truck was fully engulfed following the accident, with black smoke billowing from it.

Two truck drivers have made a lucky escape after a crash sent one truck up in flames.

The incident occurred on Sunday, about 7.30am, on the Western Highway at Dimboola, Victoria.

Dimboola is about 300 kilometres north-west of Melbourne.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene after reports of the trucks colliding on the highway.

One truck was fully engulfed following the accident, with black smoke billowing from it.

One driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The other is unharmed from the accident.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
