The bag has stood up to the brand’s “rigorous testing” — which involved them flying it multiple times around New Zealand, Australia and Europe, all the while dragging it up flights of stairs each and every day.

Kathmandu promise that there’s “no compromise inside with 40 litres of packing space and internal mesh pockets for organisation”.

The bag is the winner of multiple awards, including most recently the 2024 ISPO Award for global product innovation.

Reviews online are glowing for the bag, where shoppers have given it five stars and described it as “perfect”.

“I bought this case some months ago, on special, and have only just used it for a three week holiday,” wrote one shopper.

“It is very lightweight. I had been concerned about the handle and durability but this was all fine. Just buy it.”

Another said: “This bag is very light, holds everything I need and complies with airline restrictions. The features are well thought out and it has held up to everything I asked of it. Couldn’t be happier”.

While a third added: “Love the weight, adjustable handle length and the wheels. Enough packing room for 10 days vacay without checked luggage. Even better purchased on sale”.
