Maison Valentino has officially joined forces with Vans, and the result is a collection that is already being hailed as the most exciting fashion collaboration to hit the runway.

The Valentino Garavani and Vans sneakers blend Vans’ Californian skate heritage with the Italian couture house’s unmistakable identity, delivering a capsule that fashion insiders and sneakerheads alike are scrambling to get their hands on.

First unveiled during Alessandro Michele’s Valentino runway in Paris earlier this year, the sneakers were styled with statement looks in the Fall/Winter 2025-26 collection, instantly sparking buzz across social media.

Now, the limited-edition shoes have finally launched, available online at Valentino.com and in Valentino boutiques around the world.

The collection is built on the Vans Authentic, the silhouette first introduced in 1966 that has remained a mainstay across generations thanks to its low-top design, sturdy canvas upper and waffle rubber outsole.

Alessandro Michele, newly appointed creative director of Valentino, reinterprets this classic design through his eclectic lens, delivering six variations across men’s and women’s sizing.

Each sneaker features co-branded insoles and comes in bespoke packaging that fuses Vans’ iconic checkerboard motif with Valentino’s signature VLogo.

Among the most anticipated drops is the playful Valentino Le Chat de la Maison edition, which features a whimsical cat motif.

This version will only be available at Valentino boutiques, Valentino.com and the Vans flagship store on Oxford Street in London, making it one of the hardest-to-find pairs in the collaboration.

The sneakers are designed to bridge two distinct worlds: the rebellious spirit of Vans and the refined craftsmanship of Valentino.

They cater not only to those who live in sneakers but also to collectors looking for a piece of fashion history.

While Vans brings its authentic skate DNA, Valentino infuses a couture perspective that elevates the shoe into something more than streetwear.

Maison Valentino, founded in Rome in 1960 by Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti, is synonymous with Italian luxury.

Known for Haute Couture, ready-to-wear and accessories, the Maison continues to set the tone for modern elegance under the direction of Alessandro Michele.

This collaboration signals an exciting new chapter, as the brand taps into street culture while staying true to its heritage of individuality and creativity.

With fashion collaborations becoming more commonplace, it takes a special pairing to capture genuine excitement. The Valentino Garavani and Vans sneakers do just that, reimagining a streetwear staple with couture-level detail.

For fans, this is more than just footwear; it is a wearable piece of cultural crossover that celebrates authenticity, style and the enduring appeal of the Vans Authentic.

The Valentino Garavani and Vans sneakers are now available worldwide, but given the hype and limited nature of the release, they are expected to sell out quickly.

But if you’re bougie on a budget and don’t want to drop $730 on a new pair of sneakers, you can shop Van’s classic styles below.
