SPF is recommended year-round in Australia, but as we move into spring and celebrate the longer days and warmer temperatures, it’s more important than ever to keep a UV-protective sunscreen on hand.

We’re lucky enough to have hundreds of homegrown brands available, and one of the most popular choices among Aussie shoppers is Bondi Sands.

The newest addition to shoppers’ favourite brand is the latest SPF range: Sunny.

Featuring an SPF 50+ face serum, body serum, face lotion and lip balm, each formula offers broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays — all designed to fit into your daily routine.

In gorgeous yellow packaging, the range is affordable, with prices starting at just $9.95.

According to the Cancer Council, when applying sunscreen, you need at least one teaspoon per limb, one for the front of the body, one for the back and one for the head.

A full body application for an adult should be at least 35mL or seven teaspoons.

It’s important to remember that the sun and UV levels are harsh, whether it’s sunny, cloudy or raining.

With this in mind, wearing a hat, sunglasses and applying sunscreen every couple of hours is important to help reduce the risk of sun damage.
