Many also love the fact that it’s suitable for breastfeeding mums due to its buttons, and it features flattering short puff sleeves that bring you out where you want to go out and suck you in where you want to go in.
Not only this, but it has two hidden side pockets and a wear-everywhere midi length.
Those who have invested in this Orange Sherbet dress have raved about it, and it has been given an impressive five star rating on the Orange Sherbet website.
It is also listed in the bestsellers category.
“My new favourite dress,” writes one shopper.
“Dress is perfect and so cute on. I love the puff sleeve,” adds another.
A third says: “I absolutely adore this dress. I get compliments every time I wear it.
“It is effortlessly chic and flattering. Good as a teacher dress. So comfortable and modest. Not too hot, breathable, and easy to move around in. The shirring is a really nice touch.”
While many others have highlighted just how much they love the fabric, the fit and the pockets.
“Perfect fit,” says one.
“This dress is amazing, it enhances my figure, the colour suits my complexion and so looking forward to wearing it for Christmas.”
Orange Sherbet has built up a name for itself as a cult fashion label beloved by those in the know since it launched in 2006 by Katie Naprasnik (then just 16 years old).
It has grown from a 19 metres squared store into one of Australia’s most-loved fashion destinations, with six boutiques across Queensland and a thriving online store.
Most recently, they launched their Share The Dignity campaign, offering not just fashion-forward pieces but a chance to give back in a big way.
For every item sold, $15 will be donated to Share the Dignity, a charity founded in 2015 by Rochelle Courtenay to provide women and girls experiencing homelessness or financial hardship with access to essential period products.
The reality is stark. Many women have been forced to choose between food and sanitary items or resort to using paper towels in public bathrooms as makeshift pads.
The charity’s mission is to ensure that dignity is never out of reach.
This marks the sixth year of partnership between Orange Sherbet founder Katie Naprasnik and Share the Dignity, with more than $75,000 already raised to date.
What started as a small collaboration has grown into a highly anticipated annual event, with shoppers keen to snap up the exclusive designs while knowing they are making a direct difference.
Katie explains, “We wanted to choose a charity that meant a lot to Orange Sherbet and really do something to help women in need.
“This collection is about more than just gorgeous pieces; it’s about educating our community on period poverty and showing them how they can help.”
