A young motorcyclist has died after crashing into a parked truck trailer.

The man, 21, was travelling west on Gilmore Rd, at Berrinba in Logan City, Queensland, on a green Kawasaki ZX10R when he crashed about 9.45pm on Friday.

The rider and sole occupant of the motorcycle, who was from Logan Central, died at the scene.

Forensic crash investigators are examining the scene.
