A 65-year-old man has died after the sedan he was driving collided with a truck.

Police were called to Sunnyholt Road, Acacia Gardens, in Sydney’s west shortly after 1pm on Thursday following reports of a crash.

The sedan driver was treated at the scene but could not be revived while the 36-year-old truck driver was subjected to a roadside breath test, which returned a negative result.

No other injuries were reported and investigations are continuing.
