A desperate search has been launched to locate a missing camper after he failed to arrive at his pick-up location on the NSW South Coast.
Christopher Moore, 38, was dropped off to begin a camping trip on Twelve Mile Rd, Jerrawangala, about 32km south of Nowra, about 10.30am on Wednesday.
He was due to be picked up at the same spot on Friday, however, the alarm was raised when he failed to arrive.

Police said a coordinated search, involving South Coast Police, Police Rescue, and members of the SES and Rural Fire Service, began in the area about 8am on Saturday.
Moore is believed to have been hiking and camping in the Jerrawangala or Wandandian areas.
A strong weather event on Wednesday saw wind gusts reaching 106km/h at Nowra, as the state was battered by winds which reached 117km/h at Bellambi.
NSW SES said on Wednesday they logged 534 requests for assistance, most for fallen trees.
Temperatures in the area also drop to as low as 4.3C on Friday morning.
Moore was last seen wearing khaki and black pants and a khaki-coloured hooded jumper and is about 180cm tall, of thin build with short light brown hair, a beard and a moustache.
Police said both they and Moore’s family hold concerns for his welfare.
