Product recall issued for Mamia Organic Baby Puffs sold at Aldi stores across the country

Consumers have been told not to eat the products available at a major supermarket.

Several flavours of a popular baby snack have been caught up in a major recall impacting almost every Australian state and territory.

Mamia Organic Baby Puffs sold at Aldi stores in NSW, ACT, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and WA will have to be binned due to the presence of an undeclared allergen, gluten.

The three flavours impacted are apple and cinnamon, blueberry, and carrot — and packets with “all date codes” will have to be tossed away.

“Consumers who have a gluten allergy or intolerance should not consume these products,” warned an alert from Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ).

“Consumers should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.

“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.”

The alert is among several food-related recalls issued by FSANZ in recent days, with another involving Cocobella and its coconut yoghurt products.
