Prosecutors say more than 150 exhibits and 130 statements are being reviewed.

A third person charged over the alleged murder of Gin Gin teenager Pheobe Bishop has faced court as the investigation continues to grow in complexity.

Kieren Daniel Mittelheuser, 30, is accused of interfering with the investigation by using the 16-year-old’s mobile phone after her disappearance on May 15 in Bundaberg, Queensland.

Pheobe was meant to catch a flight from Bundaberg to visit her boyfriend in Western Australia, but never made it to the airport.

Pheobe’s mother and sister were present in court wearing “Justice For Pheobe” shirts as they watched the brief proceeding.

Queensland Police prosecutor Vicki Kennedy-Grills told the court there is an “extremely large” amount of evidence, including more than 150 exhibits and 130 statements.

She requested additional time to finalise the material.
