Australian model and actress Ellie Gonsalves has accused an Australia Post delivery driver of keying her car and shared dashcam footage she claims shows the moment it happened.
Gonsalves — who rose to fame in Hollywood movie Fighting With My Family, short film Zebra, and a 2017 Super Bowl Yellowtail ad — is a global ambassador for Wildlife Warriors, the conservation organisation founded by the late Steve Irwin and his family.

The incident allegedly occurred on Wednesday at a carpark in Hornet Pl in Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast, where a man wearing what appears to be an Australia Post uniform is seen exiting a red delivery van and approaching a parked vehicle.
He appears to take something from his pocket and seems to make contact with the car before walking away.
Gonsalves posted the video to her Instagram account, which has more than 1.1 million followers, asking for help identifying the man.
“I cannot believe how STUPID people are,” she wrote.
“@auspost this is absolutely despicable behaviour by one of your delivery drivers ... I expect an apology from this person and for you to repair the damage this driver did while keying our car immediately.
“And to the flog who thought this was a good idea ... congratulations, you’re the dumbest person in Australia if you didn’t think you were being recorded.”
She said the alleged act was captured not only on dashcam but on “every single security camera in this private lot”.

Police investigating as Australia Post launches internal probe
Queensland Police Service confirmed a complaint was received on Thursday, August 22.
“Police have received a complaint and are investigating a report of wilful damage,” QPS said.
“No charges have been laid at this stage.”
Australia Post said a worker has been suspended as it investigates the complaint, saying it is taking the matter seriously.
“Australia Post has high standards for the conduct of its people and is investigating these claims as a priority,” a spokesperson told 7NEWS.
“We acknowledge Ms Gonsalves’ concerns and have spoken with her today to update her on the ongoing investigation and next steps.
“The postal worker involved has been suspended from duties pending a full investigation and any action will be taken following the outcome of this investigation.”

In an update to her Instagram post, Gonsalves said her followers had identified the man in the video.
“I love how the internet tracks people down,” Gonsalves wrote on Instagram.
“Hope you have the weekend you deserve before you get sacked, doll,” she added.
Her management has been contacted for comment.
