A man charged with allegedly murdering his partner is the co-host of a podcast about “the occult, magick, spirituality, and everything clandestine”.
Tobias Nuttall, 32, allegedly stabbed his 30-year-old partner at a home in Bassendean, in Perth’s northeast, about 12.30pm on Wednesday.
She was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital in a critical condition but later died.

Nuttall, from Brigadoon, is due to face Perth Magistrates Court on Friday.
According to his social media profiles, Nuttall graduated from The University of Notre Dame with a bachelor of philosophy in 2019.
In recent years, he worked for a NSW-based recruitment company and launched the Waking World Podcast with a friend.
According to its Apple Podcasts summary, Waking World is “where reality gets a reality check”.

“As two inquisitive minds on a quest for truth, they pull back the curtains of the mundane to reveal a world bubbling with mysteries, hidden agendas and esoteric knowledge.”


Aside from hosting, Nuttall also appeared as a guest speaker on other podcasts, most recently featuring on a UK broadcast shared to YouTube just three days ago.
Police and forensic officers remained at the scene on Thursday as they scoured the area for evidence.
Premier Roger Cook on Thursday said his thoughts were with the first responders.
Investigations into the incident remain ongoing.
