A driver has been injured and another charged after a crash between two luxury cars in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Police said they were called to New South Head Rd in Rose Bay following reports of a crash about 3.30am on Saturday.
When officers arrived, they found a Rolls-Royce and a Mercedes had collided head-on.

The driver of the Mercedes, a 52-year-old man, was trapped for over an hour before he could freed by Police Rescue and Fire and Rescue NSW teams.
He was treated by paramedics at the scene for leg, neck and back injuries before being taken to St Vincent’s hospital in a stable condition.
The driver of the Rolls-Royce, a 23-year-old woman, was uninjured and allegedly failed a police breath test.





She was arrested and taken to St Vincent’s Hospital for mandatory testing before being charged by police on Saturday afternoon.
She was arrested and taken to Waverley Police Station where officers allege she refused to undergo a breath analysis.
She was charged with cause bodily harm by misconduct, in charge of motor vehicle and refuse or fail to submit to breath analysis.
She was given conditional bail to appear before the Downing Centre Local Court on August 15.
“Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers,” police added.
