Police who have spent days searching a suburban property over a suspicious disappearance fear a man not heard from for months could be dead.
Jayden Stewart Selfe, 33, has not made contact with people known to him since early May, and information in August prompted detectives to launch a missing person case.

“At this stage we have grave concerns,” WA Police Commissioner Col Blanch said.
“I don’t want to rule out that he may be alive but certainly the information we have ... suggests that harm may have come to Mr Selfe.”
Blanch said there is evidence that Selfe had been at a unit on Money Rd in the riverside Perth suburb of Attadale, and may have been harmed there too.
The commissioner did not detail what was seized from the home by forensic teams.
“Our investigation at that premises and other information that we have received over the last 24 hours has (police) very concerned,” Blanch said.

Police have not said how Selfe is linked to the unit, but he is a local of the suburb.
The property, within a block of units, has been a hive of activity since Thursday, but it was not immediately clear what police were doing there.
“We did not tell the public what we were looking for because quite frankly we had information that was not verified or validated and police were in fact spending time at that address to validate information,” Blanch said.
The Homicide Squad and Major Crime Squad are now investigating.
Police believe someone within his circle of associates will know something, but Blanch would not jump to conclusions about who could be involved.
“Let’s find Mr Selfe or what’s happened to him and then the investigation will go from there,” Blanch said.
Police said there is no ongoing risk to the community.
Selfe is about 180cm tall with a slim build, brown eyes and brown hair.
