German supermarket ALDI has announced its new partnership with delivery service DoorDash is now available to customers across the country.
New South Wales has become the final state to join the cross-over between the on-demand delivery service and the supermarket giant.
More than 1800 products, including fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, seafood, dairy, bread and household essentials are available to order from Tuesday.

This follows a successful trial in Canberra in July, with thousands of orders delivered in the first week alone.
The new delivery options were introduced to Western Australia, South Australia, Queensland and Victoria in recent months, with NSW the final state to join the service.
ALDI Australia group director Simon Padovani-Ginies said the supermarket had “responded to what our customers have been asking for”.
“Our partnership with DoorDash is a game-changer, truly transforming the different ways people can shop with us,” he said.
“Whether it’s midweek essentials, forgotten ingredients, weekend top-ups, or their full haul, most customers around the country can now order their ALDI favourites online and have their haul delivered straight to their doors.”
Deliveries can be ordered through the DoorDash app, or customers can visit the website and search for ALDI.

Orders are flexible and can be requested to be delivered as soon as possible or at an allocated time.
The first orders placed with DoorDash and ALDI showed shoppers are using the platform to buy emergency supplies such as nappies and wipes, within hours of first orders going live, while another early order contained two bags of cat food and a pack of toilet paper.
Essentials such as milk and eggs are purchased in about a quarter of all ALDI orders on DoorDash nationally, the company said, while a third of ALDI orders on DoorDash are placed on weekends.
Order data showed Canberrans are more likely to order sweets foods, with the most popular snack the Belmont Biscuit Co. Chocolate Flavoured Crème Wafers 125g packs.
Western Australians, Queenslanders, South Australians and Victorians preferred savoury items, with Sprinters Corn Chips Cheese Extreme 200g packs the favourite for all, except WA, who preferred the Sprinters Crinkle Cut Multipack 20 Pack.
“From emergency orders of nappies and wipes, snacking essentials to the full weekly shop, customers have been raving about the new level of convenience the service unlocks for them,” Padovani-Ginies said.
“It’s fantastic to be able to celebrate the service rolling out nationally from today.”
DoorDash APAC vice-president Simon Rossi said he was “proud to help enable this new level of accessibility” for Australians.
“Our partnership with ALDI is all about delivering our customers greater convenience, choice and value,” he said.
“ALDI’s much-loved exclusive and value-driven range combined with DoorDash’s reliable, on-demand delivery technology means shoppers around the country don’t have to go too long between ALDI shops.”
