British actor Owen Cooper has become the youngest actor to ever win an Emmy — delivering an adorable message to any other teenagers thinking about getting out of their comfort zone.
At just 15 years old, Cooper took out the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
The previous record holder of youngest Emmy winner was Scott Jacoby, who was 16 when he won for That Certain Summer in 1973.

The breakout star led the traumatic Netflix drama, which examined toxic masculinity in young boys and the devastating effects it can have on children and their families.
During his emotional acceptance speech, Cooper thanked the cast and crew of the series as well as his parents.
“Honestly, when I started these drama classes a couple years back, I didn’t expect to be in the United States, never mind here,” Cooper said on stage.
“But I think tonight proves that if you listen and you focus and you step out of your comfort zone, you can achieve anything in life.
“I was nothing about three years ago and I’m here now. Who cares if you get embarrassed? Anything can be possible.”

Before auditioning for Adolescence, in which he plays troubled teen Jamie Miller who is arrested on suspicion of murder, Cooper had never worked as an actor before.
In June, the series became Netflix’s second most-watched English-language series.
In addition to Cooper’s history-making win, Adolescence took home five more Emmys for their hit show.

Earlier in the night, director and producer Philip Barantini won for Directing for a Limited or Anthology Series.
Writer Jack Thorne and actor Stephen Graham won Outstanding Writing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
Actress Erin Doherty won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
It was her first win and nomination. Doherty dedicated the award to her big sister.
Graham — who plays Cooper’s father in the show — took home the award for Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
“This kind of thing doesn’t normally happen to a kid like me,” he said in his acceptance speech.
“I’m just a mixed race kid from a block of flats in a place called Kirkby, so for me, to be here today in front of my peers and to be acknowledged by you is the utmost humbling thing I could ever imagine in my life.
“And it shows you that any dream is possible.
“I want to bring it to my dad for taking me to a video shop when I was a kid and starting my education in film, my kids Grace and Alfie and my adorable wife, who I love with every ounce of my being.
“You are my rock, you are my will, you are my soulmate and you know and I know without you, I would be dead.
“So from the bottom of my heart, I love you with everything I have. And namaste, everyone. Thanks very much.”
The show also won the Limited or Anthology Series category.
