KitchenAid is one of those businesses synonymous with craftsmanship, purpose and - dare I suggest - elegance.

Famed for its multi-use stand mixers, blenders, toasters and utensils in bold and exciting colours, it doesn’t take much to excite the culinary world when the brand announces something new.

And that was just the case on November 1 when KitchenAid’s Australia and New Zealand Instagram posted a teasing video with the cryptic title “Something is coming”.

The ability to comment was removed, proving the brand was deadly serious about keeping whatever that “something” was a secret.

And the only other clue was a print of its stand mixer with a changing pattern on it.

“A new era of culinary creativity and interior elegance is upon us,” the caption read.

The sign up page is actually KitchenAid’s newsletter, which will drop in members’ inboxes on the morning of the big reveal.

Thousands of people are reportedly signing up to the newsletter in anticipation of the new release.
