<p>Membros do Legislativo discutiam o projeto de lei sobre ''agentes estrangeiros''. A proposta considera como "agente estrangeiro" toda empresa ou ONG que tenha capital ou investidores internacionais. De acordo com políticos contrários à matéria, seus defendores querem reprimir opositores do governo. </p>
<p>Integrante do Parlamento, Anri Okhanashvili afirmou que o projeto se aplica "universalmente a organizações que recebem financiamento de qualquer fonte estrangeira".</p>
