The AFL future of Adelaide veteran Taylor Walker remains unclear ... for the moment.
The 35-year-old forward was at West Lakes on Tuesday for his exit interview, and he was tightlipped when approached by media as he was leaving.

“I don’t really have a timeline on it to be honest, so we will see how it goes,” Walker said.
“We will make that decision in due time.”
Ahead of the meeting, Walker appeared on radio and was also pressed on his future.
“I don’t know … I’m still quite emotional about Friday night to be honest,” he said on Triple M, referring to the semi-final loss to Hawthorn.
“I’m going to sit on it for a little bit.
“Hopefully time will allow me to make that decision, time with Ellie, with the guys I really trust, and once I withdraw myself from the emotion of everything, it will become really clear to me.”
Walker has 680 goals to his name, the most out of any Adelaide player in the club’s history.
But with young stars Riley Thilthorpe and Darcy Fogarty, there have been many questions about the Crows’ forward-line this year and the three-pronged attack.
After the Adelaide shock loss to Hawthorn — which saw the Crows booted out of the finals in straight sets — the questions again emerged with the spotlight returning to Walker.
That final was his lowest rated game of the year, with Walker having just seven disposals and kicking just two points.
AFL expert Kane Cornes has been one of the most vocal on Walker, believing his time is up.
On Monday’s The Agenda Setters, Cornes was quick to remind those (including co-pannelist Craig Hutchison) who had been critical of his Walker call.
“I’ve got so many receipts. I’ve argued with you about it all year. And every Monday you bring it up,” Cornes said as he theatrically threw all his receipts in the air.
“Receipts everywhere. It’s tax time. I’m dancing on yours and others and everyone else that wanted to have a crack at me all year about it when they’re kicking goals against Richmond and West Coast.
“He (Walker) was OK throughout the home and away season. He was absolutely exposed in the final series when Jack Scrimshaw is getting coaches’ votes playing against you.
“And he’s been a great player, star of the club, legend, 300-game player, will be in their Hall of Fame. All of that.”

But Cornes believes the club should take the decision out of Walker’s hands.
“Absolutely, I’m calling time. I called time last year and it’s not just about his performance. It’s about the flow-on effect for the teammates around him,” he said.
“Because he’s such a commanding figure and draws the football, that’s why no one goes to Fogarty.
“And Fogarty’s got a seven-year deal. He’s got to be the future with the Thilseeker of this forward line.
“And you can’t have this vision where a 35-year-old just doesn’t compete on the biggest stage of all.
“So what I don’t like is when clubs make the player, make the decision about whether they want to go.
“We’ve seen it at other clubs. I think Travis Boak’s a good example of that.
“Hard clubs make hard calls on very respected and influential players.
“He hasn’t earned the right. Who earns the right? Your performance earns the right.”
But Adelaide great and club director Mark Ricciuto said it was Walker’s call.
“It’s not my decision. It’s Tex’s decision on what he wants to do,” Ricciuto said on Triple M.
“From looking at the outside, he’s still a valuable contributor to the footy club absolutely and on game day.
“But it’s up to him, he’s got to be mentally ready to be able to go through another pre-season. Only he knows how much his body is hurting or how much he’s got to give.”
Meanwhile, Adelaide has delisted small forward Lachlan Murphy after 120 games.
Murphy debuted in 2018 and played 39 games across the 2024 and 2023 seasons, but only managed five this year.
“No good,” he said following his exit meeting on Tuesday.
“People lose their jobs everyday so it’s not that big of a deal for me.
“We move on.
“There’s worst things happening in the world.”
