The former officer is reportedly offering his speaking services for up to $10,000.

A former police officer acquitted of murder over the shooting death of Indigenous teenager Kumanjayi Walker is set to speak at a networking event for first responders this week.

Zachary Rolfe is among eight speakers being promoted ahead of Frontline Summit: Purpose in Service and Beyond in Parramatta, NSW on Saturday.

The aim, according to organisers, is to “create a community, helping our colleagues find purpose in service and transition when leaving the job”.

“It will be a solid day with the right people, pushing the culture in the right direction,” Rolfe posted about the event online, reported The Guardian.

A protest calling for an end to black deaths in custody is being held on the same day at Parramatta Square, with the rally to march to the event featuring Rolfe.

The Guardian, who reported Rolfe could be booked for up to $10,000 for talks on “leadership, crisis management and ethical decision-making”, sought comment from Frontline Summit organisers, Rolfe and his manager, but all declined.

Event organisers also declined to speak when contacted by www.20304050.best.

Online ticket sales for the summit appear to have been suspended on Tuesday.

Hopeful attendees were greeted with “uh oh, we can’t find that page” or “this event is yet to launch” when clicking through on the web ticketing platform hosting sales.

In November 2019, former constable Rolfe fatally shot Walker during an attempted arrest in the remote Northern Territory community of Yuendumu, 290km northwest of Alice Springs.

Rolfe, who was stabbed with scissors during the incident, was found not guilty of all charges — including murder — during a Supreme Court trial in 2022.

Findings from a coronial inquest into Walker’s death will be handed down on July 7.
