It was already well alight when fire crews arrived.

It took about an hour to bring the blaze under control and another two hours to fully extinguish it.

Two residents, aged 33 and 38, managed to escape uninjured through a second-storey window.

A log fire burning inside the home is believed to have sparked the blaze, though this is yet to be confirmed.

A crime scene has been established and investigations are ongoing.
