Three teenage girls are facing court after allegedly stealing a luxury BMW and leading police on a dramatic chase.
The trio allegedly snatched the black BMW X5 from a Lakeside Ave home on the Gold Coast, Queensland, sometime between 10pm on June 6 and 5.30am the next day.

Police spotted the stolen vehicle travelling from Carrara to West Burleigh on June 7, triggering a major response involving ground crews and the PolAir helicopter.
The chase came to an end about 4pm when officers intercepted the BMW on Tallebudgera Creek Rd in West Burleigh, police said.
A 17-year-old girl behind the wheel was taken into custody and charged with several serious offences including stealing a car with others at night, dangerous driving, breaking into a home, and theft.
Two 15-year-old passengers were also arrested at the scene.
One girl was charged with stealing a car with others, receiving stolen goods, and theft.
The other faces four counts of unlawfully using a car at night with others, along with receiving stolen property.
The 17-year-old is due to appear in Southport Children’s Court this week.
The two younger girls are set to face the same court on July 16.
