Three people have died in a horrific collision in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges.
A Range Rover and a Ford Territory were travelling in opposite directions on Bolinda-Darraweit Rd in Bolinda, east of Gisborne, when one of the cars veered onto the wrong side of the road about 7.20am on Sunday.
Three out of the four occupants inside one of the cars died at the scene.

They have not yet been formally identified but it’s believed some of the victims were family members.
The fourth person inside the car was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle involved was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

It’s understood a dead kangaroo was found on the side of the road at the scene, with police believing one of the cars may have swerved to avoid it.
“It appears that one of the vehicles has veered into the oncoming traffic … and they’ve collided head-on which has caused the catastrophic scene that we see here today,” Senior Sergeant Ben Morris said.
“It appears that the vehicle that has swerved we believe has possibly swerved to avoid the animal.”
Police are still investigating the exact cause of the crash.
While the victims have not all been formally identified Morris said no young children were among the dead.
The two people taken to hospital are now in stable conditions.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, has dashcam footage or any other information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
