Four teenage girls inside the car fled on foot but were arrested not long after.
A 17-year-old and three 13-year-olds were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police say the Subaru had been stolen from an address in Carnegie earlier on Monday night.
The owner of one of the cars that was struck by the allegedly stolen vehicle told 7NEWS she ran out of her home when she heard a massive bang.
“All my kids were like ‘what, what?’ We all ran out and all of a sudden the car was literally right across the whole road and there were all these kids inside going ‘I need my phone’, and they were carrying on and trying to get out,” Sarah said.
“We’re all saying ‘it’s alright, just get out of the car, everything is fine’, I didn’t realise it was a stolen car.”
She said it was a miracle no one was seriously hurt.
“They’ve sideswiped my car and taken out the side of it and then ran up the front of my next door neighbour’s car, which has just in turn flipped the whole car.”
“There’s a massive power pole on one side, there’s a tree on this side. If they’d hit that pole, there would have been somebody dead for sure.”
Sarah said she recently returned home from an overseas holiday and had just taken her car out of the basement of an apartment across the road where it had been for three weeks.
Other neighbours said there were potentially up to eight teenagers in the car, with some fleeing to the train station up the road.
A number of bottles of alcohol were also found inside the car.
The teenage girls who were arrested were summonsed to face a children’s court at a later date.
