Queensland’s Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a 16-year-old girl was killed in a single-car accident on Tuesday evening.

Emergency services were called to reports a Daihatsu Applause had crashed into a tree at Lucas Rd, Coolabunia, approximately two-and-a-half hours northwest of Brisbane, shortly before 7pm.

The teen driver and sole occupant was found dead at the scene.
