She was rushed to hospital but died shortly after.
Coroner Don McKenzie ruled her former partner, Cristos Panagakos, alleged to have bikie-linked criminal associations, had accidentally caused her death.
According to the ruling, a gun inside the bag he was carrying discharged when he tripped.

Panagakos told the inquest last year his memory of the night was “blurry” and denied telling a witness he accidentally shot Jovanovic.
His account was rejected, with several witnesses found to be untruthful.
The firearm involved was never found.

Panagakos was initially charged with Jovanovic’s murder, but the charges were dropped after prosecutors deemed there was insufficient evidence to prove involuntary manslaughter.
Jovanovic’s family remember her as a kind, happy, and caring person.
