A man has died after a van and truck collided in Sydney‘s southwest.

Police say the two vehicles crashed on Henry Lawson Dr in Milperra sometime around 5.10pm on Monday.

The driver of the van, a 34-year-old man, was treated by paramedics however died at the scene.

The truck driver, a 54-year-old man, was taken to Bankstown Hospital with minor injuries and to undergo mandatory testing.

“Police have established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the incident,” NSW Police said.

Anyone with dashcam footage, CCTV or information about the incident has been urged to contact Bankstown Police or Crime Stoppers.
