A 28-year-old man has been charged following the sudden death of a 44-year-old man on the Gold Coast.
Police allege the pair were arguing at a home on Beale St, Southport at about 9.30pm on Saturday when the younger man assaulted the older man, causing head injuries.

Emergency services were called to the address at about 9.50pm, where they found the 44-year-old unresponsive in a car.
He was initially taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital but later declared dead.
The 28-year-old Stafford Heights man was arrested on Sunday morning and has since been charged with murder.
He is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on Monday.
“A crime scene has been declared at Beale St and investigations into the circumstances of the man’s death are ongoing,” Queensland Police said.
Anyone who has any information has been urged to come forward.
