A pedestrian is fighting for life after a serious alleged hit-and-run in Brisbane’s south.

The 29-year-old man was near Ipswich Rd and Clive St in Annerley when he was struck by a car heading toward Brisbane city about 11.14pm on Friday.

The car allegedly drove off and did not stop to help the man, who was critically injured.

Paramedics were called a few minutes later, according to police, and the man was rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a life-threatening condition.
