A 54-year-old man hit by a bus in Sydney’s north-west on Wednesday has died in hospital.

Emergency services were called to NW Transit Way, Rouse Hill, about midday on Wednesday following reports of a crash.

The pedestrian was taken to Westmead Hospital after being treated at the scene but police were advised about 10pm on Thursday that he had died.

Investigations are ongoing.
