A toddler is fighting for life after being struck by a car north of Brisbane.

The little girl was hit by the car at a home in Morayfield about 7.15pm on Friday.

She was rushed to Queensland Children’s Hospital in an unknown condition.

An hour earlier, a man in his 40s was also left fighting-for-life after being hit by a car on Flinders Hwy at Broughton, near Charters Towers.

Queensland Ambulance Service said he was treated for potentially life-threatening pelvic injuries.

He was airlifted to Townsville University Hospital for further treatment.
