The children on board were aged between eight and 12-years-old.

A bus carrying eight children has crashed into bushes after veering off the road during a collision.

The crash involving the bus and a car occurred about 8.45am on Wednesday on Silverdale Rd in Wallacia, Western Sydney.

Eight students, aged between eight and 12, and the 37-year-old male bus driver were uninjured.

The car driver, a man in his 60s, was treated by paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
