There were terrifying scenes off the southeast coast of Bali as a boat carrying tourists capsized on Wednesday.
The boat began to sink just offshore of Lembongan Village, on the island of Nusa Lembongan, about 4.30pm local time.

The vessel, known as The Tanis, was newly loaded with passengers, and had been backing out on its way to Sanur, when it was hit by a wave from behind and began taking on water.
Witnesses spotted the boat going down and rushed to help evacuate passengers, who could be seen in footage sliding into the water as the vessel tilted.
There were 89 passengers, including 77 foreigners and 12 Indonesian nationals, onboard the boat with a 125-seat capacity.
All passengers were evacuated to safety by 6.30pm local time.
There were no deaths or serious injuries reported.
As a safety precaution, divers have been employed to search the sunken boat and seabed, to double-check that there are no other victims.
Most of the passengers decided to stay in Nusa Lembongan, only two of the tourists continued on to Sanur Harbor
