A 62-year-old woman has been charged after a man, who is known to her, was found with a stab wound to his torso.

Police responding to reports of an assault found the injured 61-year-old man at a home in Munno Para, in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, about 10pm on Wednesday.

He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The woman was arrested at the home and later charged with.assault causing harm.

She was granted police bail to face court on August 20.

“The incident is not random and both people involved are known to each other,” police said.
