Tomorrowland organisers are looking at the possibility of hosting a smaller offshoot event to Australia, it has been confirmed.
There was a frenzy online after eagle-eyed fans at the world-famous electronic dance music festival in Belgium at the weekend noticed a map that appeared to be teasing upcoming locations.
Now organisors have shed more light on their thinking.
“We are looking into the possibilities for a CORE event in Australia, so not a Tomorrowland festival,” a spokesperson told www.20304050.best.
CORE events are smaller boutique experiences that fall under the Tomorrowland umbrella.
Spin-off festivals have previously been held in the US, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico.

Australia’s first attempt to launch an orbital rocket has been put on hold after wild winds forced Gilmour Space Technologies to scrub today’s liftoff.
CEO Adam Gilmour confirmed the decision this afternoon, saying the team “can’t get past the wind limits” despite the Eris rocket being ready to fly.
“We’ll try again tomorrow,” Gilmour wrote in an update on LinkedIn, after conditions at the Bowen Orbital Spaceport failed to meet safety thresholds.
The 23-metre Eris rocket was set to make history as the first Australian-built rocket to attempt orbit using hybrid propulsion technology.
Today’s scrub marks another hurdle for the Queensland-based company, which has already faced multiple delays due to technical issues and weather conditions.
