Reality TV star Abbie Chatfield unleashes on ‘Australia first’ protests in expletive laden-rant

‘Any immigrants who follow me or are going to see this video, please ... know you are welcome.’

Reality TV star Abbie Chatfield has unleashed on planned “Take Australia Back” rallies intended to protest against mass immigration.

Promotional videos and flyers for the protests — saying they will be held in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra on August 31 — have gone viral online.

“Australia, it’s time to rise,” one flyer reads.

“It’s time to take our country back. It’s time to defend our way of life. It’s time to defend our culture. Stop mass immigration now.”

Chatfield called the planned rallies “racist, bigoted, disgusting, and terrifying” in an expletive-ridden six-minute rant she shared on social media.

“I didn’t want to talk about this because I didn’t want to bring attention to it but it’s now getting attention so it’s time to f****** talk about it and condemn it,” Chatfield said.

“There is going to be a nationwide protest for all the racists and the xenophobes of Australia to get together and ‘march for Australia’.

“They claim it is about cost of living, they claim that it is about Australia gaining itself back, winning Australia back, taking Australia back — from whom, no one knows.”

“Any immigrants who follow me or are going to see this video, please f****** know you are welcome — and I know that it doesn’t feel like it.

“Please know that you are welcome and these protests should be condemned by every f****** Australian.”

Chatfield said the economic problems of Australia are “because of much larger, much more complex economic and political strategies”.

She also blamed post-pandemic global inflation and price-gouging for the problem.

Chatfield acknolwedged she is not of First Nations heritage but said she spoke for the “majority” of Australians, saying they did not support this rally.

“I will say, the majority of Australians who live in this country do not agree with this shit,” she said.

“They don’t f****** agree with it. These losers, insecure losers, these absolute freaks, want to feel powerful. And like I was saying before, it’s easier to punch down than it is to admit that our system is f***** … (or) understand that our society is pretty crook and the stage of capitalism that we’re at is pretty bad.

“And the people who are in power, that you’ve been boot-licking your whole f****** life, actually aren’t going to help you. It isn’t the fault of immigrants, OK?”

Chatfield got a mixed response from her followers on TikTok.

“I’m part Indigenous and I’ll be attending,” one fan wrote.

Another follower said: “As a married couple who both went to uni, got full-time, WELL-earning jobs, we shouldn’t be struggling to live. It’s not racist. It’s trying to provide for ourselves and our kids.”

Others agreed with the reality star.

“I’m an immigrant and I had to jump through hoops just to be here. All immigrants I know are skilled professionals and are contributing drastically to the economy and serving Australians. Thank you for speaking for us,” one person said.

“They’ll do anything except hold billionaires and politicians accountable,” another wrote.
