Sowter and his team of tradies call themselves the “sexiest plumbers in Penrith” and have created a commercial of themselves pulling some very raunchy moves to the song It’s Raining Men.

When the ad first aired at the start of the segment, Nat could be seen laughing and fanning herself with a piece of paper.

“Oooooooof!” she said.

Sowter said he came up with the novel idea as a way to drum up new business for his company and change people’s perspectives of the industry.

“One day I came home from work and I said to my wife, ‘We need to change the industry somehow and you know what will do it? Five blokes - well, five fat blokes - dancing around in their car shaking their backside.’ That’s what’s gonna sell it!” he told Nat and Shirvo.

“On a serious note, we found the plumbing industry to be getting a couple of black eyes in the past so we want to do something that’s different, that changes the whole industry.

“So we sat and we brainstormed and we talked about some basic ideas of everyday life today and we made some ads together.

“And this is just a bit of fun, we didn’t think this was going to do what it’s done.”

After watching the footage again, an impressed Nat asked: “Where did you get those moves?!”

Laughing, Sowter said: “You know, I’m all man. Clearly! I can shake it, baby!”

Sowter and his plumbers then did a performance of their commercial live on-air, prompting an raucous reaction from Nat and Shirvo.

“Yes!” Nat cried out.

Shirvo said: “You’ve been working on this! You’re better than the ad now!”

“What’s he doing with his pipe?” asked an amused Nat when Sowter pulled a particularly spicy dance move.

When one of the tradies took off his shirt, the host said: “Go back to the shirt guy!”

She then said, “Look at tattoo man go!”

Wrapping up the segment, Shirvo commended the plumbers for being “absolutely brilliant”.

Nat added that the tradies needed “no encouragement - at all!”
