Jetstar has launched a massive sale on international and domestic flights, starting at just $29.

The Get Onboard Sale includes 29,000 domestic fares for the same price offered when the carrier launched in 2004.

Holidaymakers can get Adelaide-Sunshine Coast, Brisbane-Melbourne, Hobart-Sydney and Sydney-Gold Coast, for $29.

Other deals include Brisbane to the Whitsundays from $53, Canberra to the Gold Coast from $70, and Sydney to Darwin from $157.

Meanwhile, international flights will start at just $129, with Singapore, Bali, Fiji, Vanuatu and Tokyo all on sale.

Flights to Ho Chi Minh City start at $249, Tokyo at $259, Seoul at $269, Bangkok at $282 and Osaka at $299.

Club Jetstar members will get first pick, with 12 hours of exclusive access from midday Monday.

The general public will have to wait until midnight tonight to snap up the deals.

On Monday, Sunrise’s Gold Coast reporter Georgia Costi spoke about the deals.

“The perfect time to book a holiday if you’re dreaming of one, Jetstar is going to launch some super cheap fares as low as $29 and then you can come to beautiful places like the Gold Coast,” Costi said.

“If you are a club Jetstar member, you’ll be able to get those from midday today and if you’re not your still be able to get those at midnight instead.

“What is interesting about this particular sale is these are the same prices, the lowest prices from when Jetstar launched all the way back into 2004, so this morning we’ve been trying to reminisce what was 2004 like.

“To be honest with you, I was six years old, so I don’t have a great memory but I’ve been learning it was the year Mean Girls came out, the fashion was questionable, people were wearing dresses over jeans.”

Travel dates vary by route, spanning mid-September 2025 to mid-June 2026.

The sale officially ends at 11.59pm AEST on August 29– unless sold out sooner.
