The CWA is known for their home made cooking and delicious baked goods.
Today, they are making chocolate brownies.

Recipe below:
CHOCOLATE BROWNIES
Cooking time 20 – 25 minutes
200g butter
½ cup cocoa
2 cups brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup plain flour
2 eggs
½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
ICING
2 cups icing sugar
1-2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp butter
Hot water if needed
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Melt butter and cocoa powder gently in a pot or in the microwave.
Add sugar and vanilla and stir in well.
Take off the heat, sift in the flour and mix.
Add eggs and beat well.
Stir in walnuts.
Spread evenly in a 30x20cm tin.
Bake for 20-25 minutes (30 minutes for a more cakey brownie)
