The twists and turns around teenage NRL star Lachlan Galvin are continuing and a bombshell report now suggests he has played his last game with Wests Tigers.
In the latest update, it has been suggested Galvin’s manager is trying to get the 19-year-old immediately released from his current contract, and wants it signed off before the open market on June 30.
The prodigious five-eighth has already told the club he wants out when his existing contract expires at the end of 2026.

He has also knocked back a $6 million extension from the Wests Tigers.
Galvin could be released as soon as this week but the Tigers are digging in over the final details. They, understandably, want something in return, a transfer fee or possibly a player.
The Tigers have a bye this weekend, meaning the next time we see Galvin in action he could be in different colours.
The Canterbury Bulldogs and Parramatta Eels are both strongly linked to Galvin.
Galvin was mocked on social media by teammate Sunia Turuva when his intentions on his future became public.
He was then dumped to reserve grade to play in front of a few hundred spectators at Lidcombe Oval as concerns grew over his treatment by the club.
After he was dumped, Galvin’s manager served the club with a legal letter alleging he was being bullied and not been provided with a safe workplace.
When Galvin returned to the team, the Tigers had to provide him with extra security due to all the threats.
It is expected that legal letter and requests for mediation between the two parties will disappear if Galvin is released ahead of June 30.
If no agreement is reached before June 30, Galvin will not be able to play for another club this year.
Meanwhile, Cameron Ciraldo won’t close the door on Canterbury pursuing Galvin should Wests Tigers agree to an early release for the teen superstar.
“I only heard the latest updates just as I walked into this (press conference on Wednesday),” he said.
“It’s not something we’ve had time to comprehend or talk about.”
Ciraldo was asked point-blank whether the door was still ajar for Galvin.
“That’s another great question,” he said with a laugh.
“Honestly, right now, we’re just worried about tomorrow night.
“We want to put in a really good performance to finish this first half of the season, then we’ve got 18 days before our next game to think about where we can get better and what we can do.
“I’m sure we’ll have those conversations in the future.”
Parramatta have been considered another leading candidate for Galvin’s services, particularly given five-eighth Dylan Brown is leaving after 2025.
New coach Jason Ryles rates Galvin highly, but prop Junior Paulo insisted Brown would be the club’s five-eighth until he leaves for Newcastle next year.
“(Galvin) is definitely a quality player and has been since he’s come into first grade,” Paulo said.
“Wherever his future ends up, that’s something for the club to sort out, but wherever he does end up I’m sure he’ll be looking to relish in that role.
“Dyl’s our five-eighth and will be for the remainder of this year.”
